ACM Winter School 2024: Decoding AI: Building Explainable and Robust Intelligence
The ACM Winter School 2024 was organised by the Department of Computer Science at SRM University AP. The two-week programme focused on explainable and robust artificial intelligence and brought together participants from 22 institutions across India, including IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Hyderabad. Sessions included lectures, tutorials, practical work and discussions with the invited speakers.

ACM India Research Opportunities in Computer Science (ROCS)
ACM India's Research Opportunities in Computer Science (ROCS) introduced undergraduate and postgraduate students to research areas in computing. The programme included talks, tutorials and interactive sessions led by researchers, academics and industry professionals. It also gave students an opportunity to learn about research pathways and connect with people working in different areas of computer science.

LinkUp Coding: A Hands-On Linked List Bootcamp
The ACM Student Chapter at SRM University AP was inaugurated on January 31, 2026. The first academic programme was LinkUp Coding, a full-day bootcamp on C programming and linked lists. More than 250 students took part, including many first-year students and students from different disciplines. The sessions moved from C programming basics to linked-list implementation through coding exercises and guided problem solving.

Career Road Map for Tech Students: From Classroom to Corporate
The SRM AP ACM Student Chapter organised this career talk with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences. The session covered the move from university study to technology careers and gave UG, PG and PhD students practical advice on skills, career choices and preparing for industry roles.
